[[Category:Software]]
== Introduction ==
Nakivo is a cheaper alternative to Veeam, offering VM based backups of VMware, Hyper-V and Amazon EC2.

== Pros and Cons ==
One benefits of Nakivo, is that it offers repository level deduplication and compression, as well as the ability to install directly on to a NAS box to have a Backup-in-a-box solution.

On the downside, it does not yet support physical servers

== Costs ==
Nakivo comes in 5 editions:
* Basic
* Pro Essentials
* Enterprise Essentials
* Pro
* Enterprise
Features and pricing is available [https://www.nakivo.com/how-to-buy/vmware-hyper-v-pricing/ here]

== Use Cases ==
