Introduction[edit | edit source]

Nakivo is a cheaper alternative to Veeam, offering VM based backups of VMware, Hyper-V and Amazon EC2.

Pros and Cons[edit | edit source]

One benefits of Nakivo, is that it offers repository level deduplication and compression, as well as the ability to install directly on to a NAS box to have a Backup-in-a-box solution.

On the downside, it does not yet support physical servers
